In January 2021, Baby Shark Dance became the first YouTube video to surpass 10 billion views, after snatching the crown of most-viewed YouTube video of all time from the former record holder "Despacito" one year before. "Baby Shark Dance" currently has 11.34 billion lifetime views on YouTube.

“Baby Shark Dance” might be the current record-holder in terms of total views, but Korean artist Psy’s “Gangnam Style” video remained on the top spot for longest (1,689 days or 4.6 years) before ceding its spot to its successor. With figures like these, it comes as little surprise that the majority of the most popular videos on YouTube are music videos. Since 2010, all but one the most-viewed videos on YouTube have been music videos, signifying the platform’s shift in focus from funny, viral videos to professionally produced content. As of 2022, about 40 percent of the U.S. digital music audience uses YouTube Music.

Music fans are also highly engaged audiences and it is not uncommon for music videos to garner significant amounts of traffic within the first 24 hours of release. Other popular types of videos that generate lots of views after their first release are movie trailers, especially superhero movies related to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). The first official trailer for the upcoming film “Avengers: Endgame” generated 289 million views within the first 24 hours of release, while the movie trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home generated over 355 views on the first day from release, making it the most viral movie trailer.

As of September 2022, Elon Musk had a net worth valued at 276.2 billion U.S. dollars, making him the richest man in the world. The net worth of Bernard Arnault and family reached 154.3 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Gautam Adani and his family at 152.4 billion dollars. The list is dominated by Americans, and Francoise Bettencourt Meyers and family as well as Julia Koch and her family are the only two women among the 20 richest people worldwide.
The highest position of executive power has been held by a woman in just 63 countries since 1960. The first democratically elected female Prime Minister was Sirimavo Bandaranaike of Sri Lanka, who took over the leadership of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party when her husband was assassinated in 1959. Bandaranaike successfully led her party to victory in three elections, in 1960, 1970 and 1994, however constitutional changes in the 1980s meant that her final term as Prime Minister was spent in a more ceremonial role, while the President now held the real executive power (although the President at this time was also a woman; Bandaranaike's daughter, Chandrika Kumaratunga). Sri Lanka is one of just 14 countries that has had more than one woman in the highest position of executive power, and most of these countries can be found either in the Indian sub-continent or in Northern Europe. Of these thirteen, Finland, Moldova, New Zealand, and the UK are the only countries to have had three female leaders, including their current Prime Ministers.
Longest-serving female leaders
The women who have served the longest consecutive terms in these positions are Angela Merkel of Germany (16 years, 16 days), Dame Eugenia Charles of Dominica (14 years, 328 days), and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia (12 years, 6 days). The longest combined non-consecutive terms were held by Indira Gandhi of India (16 years, 15 days) and the current Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina (over 18 years in total).
Slow progress
Since 1960, 77 women have held the most powerful positions of executive power in their respective countries. Since Bandaranaike was first elected in 1960, the number of women in power has grown slowly, with the fastest growth coming in the past twelve years. At the beginning of 2022, there were 14 countries led by women - these have been joined by Honduras and the UK since the year started, and Italy is set to elect its first female president in the coming weeks. Despite growing numbers of female leaders in recent years, there has never been more than 18 women in these positions of power in a single year, which is less than 10% of the number of men who have held these positions (as today, there are 193 UN member states).
Towards the end of 2020 - and the Brexit deadline coming closer before Christmas - the GBP/USD exchange rate kept increasing. Until then, the sharpest fall in the exchange rate during this period was seen after the United Kingdom (UK) held a referendum on its European Union membership in June 2016.
What affects an exchange rate
There are several factors that can affect an exchange rate. Since the United Kingdom (UK) held a referendum on its European Union membership in June 2016, the British pound's (GBP) standing against the Euro has also been affected. During the first half of 2020, the British pound against the Euro weakened overall.

What is CHAdeMO?
The CHAdeMO fast charger was developed by the CHAdeMO association, which can name Toyota, Nissan, and Mitsubishi among its executive members. The trade name is a contraction of the term CHArge de MOve and is also a pun on the Japanese phrase ‘O cha demo ikaga desuka,’ which means ‘let’s have a cup of tea while charging.’
Running was the the most popular outdoor activity amongst people in the United States in 2021, accounting for over 64 million participants. The second most popular outdoor sport in the North American country was hiking with approximately 58 million participants during the same year.
Physical activity in the United States
The share of people who took part in outdoor sports in the United States stayed relatively constant between 2013 and 2018, at close to 60 percent. In 2019, however, there was a small drop to 50.7 percent which progressively climbed back to 53.9 percent in 2021. When broadening the scope to any type of physical activity, the participation rate was at 75.6 percent in 2020, a stable value since at least 2013.

The United States is renowned worldwide for its natural beauty, making it a prime location for recreational outdoor activities. In 2021, American national parks received 92.25 million visitors combined. In addition, six of the ten longest hiking trails in the world are located in United States, although the greatest one is in their northern neighbor of Canada.
In 2021, wholesale electricity prices in the European Union (EU) soared. This was the result of a myriad of factors, including increased demand in the “post-pandemic” economic recovery, a rise in natural gas and coal prices, and a drop in renewable power generation due to low wind speeds. The spike in European electricity prices was one aspect of a global energy supply shortage which has seen energy prices grow around the globe. The trend was further aggravated by Russia's invasion of Ukraine in early 2022. Extreme heat driving up electricity demand in July, combined with uncertainties over future gas supply caused prices to spike again that month, with most countries experiencing record highs in August that year.
Surging gas and coal prices driving electricity costs
As natural gas and coal are among the leading sources of electricity generation in the EU, accounting for roughly one-third of the output in 2021, electricity rates are highly dependent on the price of these commodities. Natural gas prices in Europe increased continuously throughout 2021, as reserves reached worrying low levels in the region and Russia, the main source of natural gas in Europe, kept exports low in order to replenish its own depleted stocks. Uncertainties over future Russian gas supply following the country's invasion of Ukraine is one of the main factors driving up gas prices in 2022.
Different rises for different countries
While the energy supply shortage hit Europe as a whole, the impact on each country’s electricity price varied. In August 2022, Italy recorded the highest figure in the region, at more than 543 euros per megawatt-hour. The country is the European Union’s leading electricity net importer. Meanwhile, Sweden – where hydropower and nuclear energy account for a large share of the country's electricity generation – saw a less pronounced growth in prices in the period.
The retail trade revenue of traditional Chinese and western pharmaceuticals in China sank since 2017. In the most recently reported month in 2022, the retail sales figure in China amounted to about 51.92 billion yuan.
Pharmaceuticals retail in China
China is one of the largest and fastest growing pharmaceutical markets in the world. As of 2019, China was the world’s second-largest pharmaceutical market, following the United States with a market share of around 8.5 percent in global pharmaceutical sales. In 2019, China’s pharmaceutical market had increased by four percent compared to the previous year. The production value of China’s pharmaceutical industry had amounted to about 2.4 trillion yuan in 2019, showing a drop after a steady growth over the past decade.
The market outlook
In spite of its rapid growth, the pharmaceutical market in China is far from mature. Compared to other big economies, the pharmaceutical spend per capita in China has been far lower. In 2019, the pharmaceutical spend in the United States had averaged out to 1,229 U.S. dollars and 894 U.S. dollars in Switzerland. Yet along with higher living standards, an increasing health awareness, as well as a growing need for medical care due to the aging population, the consumer spending on medicine would undoubtedly rise in China.
India's most exported commodity was engineering goods, valued at over 8.4 trillion Indian rupees in fiscal year 2022. This includes products made from iron and steel, non-ferrous metals, industrial machinery, and automobiles among others. Petroleum products came in second that year at over five trillion rupees followed by gems and jewelry exports.
